How to get your F-150 rear seat down before installing our Rear Seat Release?

To get your F-150 rear seat down before installing the Rear Seat Release, simply lift the seat bottom of the rear seat into it's upright position. By doing this, the seat back will pivot away from the cab wall slightly, offering additional space to access the latch mechanism. Use the closed end of a box end wrench and hook the release pin. The release pin is located about 7" in and about 4" down from the outer ends of the seat back.
