Introduction
Installation of the seat back MOLLE kit for your GMC or Chevy is very straight forward.

Installation
1. Seat Teardown
- Move the seat as far forward and upward as possible.
- Peel back the upholstery at the bottom of the seat by popping off the clips holding it in place.
- Locate and unzip the zippers on each side of the upholstery.
- Remove the large piece of cloth that covers the seat frame and mounting features.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to help roll down the clips and expose the wiring harness.
- Remove the push rivets securing the wiring harness and plastic cover.
- Ensure the seat frame is fully exposed.
2. Install Lower Bracket
- Orient the lower bracket so that the closed end is at the bottom and the open end is at the top.
- Slip the bracket in behind the wiring harness.
- Loosely bolt the lower bracket to the lower seat frame using the provided 5/8” long 1/4- 20 bolts and nylock nuts.
- Position the bracket with the long slots aligned with the frame bolts.
- Secure the wiring harness if necessary.
3. Install Headrest Bracket
- Attach the CNC machined headrest blocks with the provided foam pieces.
- Place the foam inside the headrest blocks and ensure it is securely adhered.
- Position the headrest block on the headrest.
- Attach the upper bracket using the provided 1/4-20 button head screws, washers, and 9/64” Allen key.
- Loosely install the upper bracket to allow for adjustments.
4. Bottom Bracket Tightening

Ensure the upper and lower brackets align correctly.

Use a 7/16” socket and 3/8” wrench to tighten the bolts securing the lower bracket.

Reinstall any push rivets or clips removed during disassembly.

Reattach the long upholstery clips if desired.
5. Install Tech Plate
-
Position the tech plate on the upper bracket.

Hand-thread three 1/4-20 button head screws with washers into the upper bracket.

Use the 9/64” Allen key to secure the screws, but do not fully tighten yet.

Attach the tech plate to the lower bracket using a quarter 20 button head screw with a washer and nut.
6. Final Tightening

Tighten all screws and bolts on the upper bracket and lower bracket.

Ensure the panel is securely mounted and does not shift.
7. Final Checks
-
Confirm that the seatback MOLLE panel is firmly installed and stable.

Mount any additional gear or accessories as needed.
