My Rear Seat Release bracket is missing a hole for the alignment pin, do I need a new verison?

Your Rear Seat Release is NOT missing a hole. The bracket is designed to slide in from the side of the latch mechanism and sit on top of it, not underneath it. If you are reaching for a drill, STOP!
