One of the most common issues folks experience when installing our rear seat release kit is failing to maintain the seats orientation when they go to relatch the seat initially. As part of the installation process, we asked you to lift the seat bottom before initially releasing the seat back, this gave you more room to get your hands behind the seat to trip the latch release pin. If you simply install our product and then close the seat back without lifting the seat bottom as you close the seat back, the latch will be hitting below the catch bar that is in the track on the cab wall.
