Introduction

This is a relatively simple install, requiring NO drilling and minimal assembly. The result is an incredibly sturdy, AMPS-compatible mounting plate for all of your valuable equipment.

Instructions

1. Dash tray is only secured w/ 3 vertically oriented spring clips at the base of the underside of the dash tray. Use a plastic pry tool, working on the forward leading edge closest to the center speaker (if equipped), prying up on the tray to release the spring clips as you work your way from one end of the dash tray to the other. (keep your dash tray cubby somewhere safe, you will not need it for the rest of the installation as our lower mounting bracket replaces the need for the tray)

2. Using a 7mm socket and ratchet, remove the 4 bolts under the dash tray, two along the front edge of the pocket, and two at the bottom. You will reuse these OEM fasteners to bolt the support plate into the void left by the removal of the dash tray.



3. Once the support bracket is installed, you're ready to mount the top plate. Using a 1/8" allen key, align the top plate and secure using the 4 provided flat top allen head bolts. 

Pro Tip - Start the 4 top plate bolts into the threads before fully tightening them all down together. The support bracket has some tight bend angles and minor flexing of the support plate tabe might be necessary to get them all perfectly aligned before fully tightening them down.

4. You're now ready to bolt up your preferred device mount. Note (due to the smaller size of this dash mount and dual angles mounting surfaces, only 2-bolt and Single Bolt design device mount can be used with their fitment, 4-bolt bases will not fit as the top plate is not a single level plane).
