Introduction
Follow along in our below linked install guide for the installation of the 102507 panel. Installation is covered in a segment of this video. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Installation involves installing rivet nuts in the holes that are already in the bedside of the truck. This process is very easy and the kit includes a tool to assist, but more sophisticated tools are also available online for around $60. From there, the panels simply bolt into those locations using the included hardware.

Tools
Ratchet
3/8" Socket
Drill
3/8" Drill bit
4.5mm Allen wrench
1/2" Wrench (optional)
Installation
1. Identify Bed Style:
- Check for hexagonal holes on the bedside of your truck.
- If present, you have the 2019+ style bed.
- If missing, you may have the classic bed.
2. Prepare the Holes:
- Widen holes with a 3/8 inch drill bit (or 25/64 drill bit for more accuracy).
- Test fit the threaded insert and adjust as needed until it fits snugly.
3. (Optional) Add Corrosion Protection:
- Apply paint to the drilled hole edges to prevent rust or corrosion. A paint pen or brush works well.
4. Install Threaded Inserts:
- Using the included hand tool:
- Thread the insert onto the provided tool using the bolt and nut assembly.
- Insert into the hole and hold the nut with a 1/2 inch wrench.
- Tighten the bolt to cinch the insert in place.
- Using the specialty tool (recommended):
- Use the tool to press the insert into the hole, ensuring it stays straight.
- Once installed, the insert should be firmly seated.
- Refer to included instructions on usage
5. Install the Panel:
-
Prepare the panel:
- Insert the 3/8 inch stainless steel bolt with a washer into the bottom corner hole.
- On the back side, place the black spacer and the rubber well nut. The flange (flat part) on the wellnut should be against the spacer
-
Lift the panel into place:
- Loosely thread one of the 3/8 inch 1/4-20 bolts into the pre-installed inserts.
- Do this for all four bolts but leave them slightly loose.
- If using the OEM cargo rail system, install it before tightening the bolts, positioning the rail correctly.
6. Tighten Bolts:
- Align the panel and secure all four bolts, ensuring the panel sits snugly against the bed.
- Tighten the bottom corner bolt to compress the rubber well nut. This step ensures the panel does not swing out.
7. Repeat for Additional Panels:
- If installing additional panels (front/rear), follow the same process. Each panel installation is identical.
Final Notes:
- Once all panels are installed, consider using MOLLE nuts for easy attachment of accessories.
- If necessary, temporarily remove the panel for easier accessory setup.
