Introduction

Installation of the BuiltRight Bronco License Plate Mount on the 2021+ Ford Bronco requires a few simple tools. On the OEM steel modular bumper, the mounting bracket is secured to the bumper in two possible locations.

T40 Torx bit or TP40 Torx Plus bit (for mod bumpers).

Instructions

1. Install the Bracket:

   • Install the Bracket. Locate the 2 bolts on the underside of the bumper, near the outer corner.
   • Loosen (but dont remove) these using the tp40 torx.
   • Locate the slotted feature on the bracket and slide onto the loosened screws with the bracket tab pointing down.
   • Tighten the tp40 torx bolts.

2. Attach the Backing Plate:

   • Secure the universal backing plate to the bracket using the two shorter screws.
   • Make sure the slotted pattern on the backing plate aligns properly.
   • The bracket has a large amount of adjustability, so find a location that you think looks good and doesn't interfere with front sensors (if applicable)

3. Install the License Plate:

   • Use the four long screws to attach the license plate and the license plate frame to the backing plate.

4. Optional: Use the BuiltRight license plate frame for a clean, finished look.
